Alessandra Williams

Alessandra Williams is a member of Chambers and has a wealth of experience in diverse areas of law. She is also a Criminologist and sat on the government's Race and Criminal Justice Panel in 2005 and 2006, chaired by the then Minister for Justice, Baroness Scotland, the former Attorney General.

Alessandra read Law at Kingston University (1999 - 2002) and took a Masters Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at King's College, London (2004 - 2005). Her background however has been in business and the financial industry and she has experience of bespoke tax structures for high net worth clients, tax law and POCA, gained from her employment as an in-house Barrister at HMRC (2006 - 2007) and AIG in 2008.

Alessandra joined Chambers in 2008 as a door tenant and was commissioned to undertake a full review of Access to Justice by the Law Society as a project manager from 2009 - 2010.

Alessandra sits on various committees associated with her wealth of experience, including the Bar Council's Equality and Diversity committee.
